POPPY- the Flower of Remembrance
11th November
In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

Oh Kerry, this is gorgeous, and I love that poem....so perfect for us to remember those who came before us, and gave up their lives
ReplyDeleteGorgeous collection! Thank you for sharing and featuring my flower pin! :)
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful flower, but sad association. I saw poppies blooming in Belgium back in May and the poem is exactly what I thought of. Nice collection.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful choices here and a wonderful tribute. Thank-you so much for including my hair pins.
