NOVEMBER: A MONTH OF REMEMBRANCE
Beginning with All Souls Day and moving on to Remembrance Day itself the month of November quietly reminds us of those who have left the world we still inhabit. We may no longer hear their voices in the same way we once heard them but we cherish their memories and hold their keepsakes close in our hearts.
Personally I like November, it's a chance to have a good wallow in the past and enjoy celebrating all that is gone but not forgotten......... often the glimpse of a long loved possession or the uncovering of a small heritage artefact keeps the departed very much alive in our hearts and minds.

This was like going through a trunk in the attic and carefully pulling out treasures that have been carefully stored and thoughtfully chosen. The things we save and remember are our history. Thank you for a delightful view into the past.
